We wish everyone in the MVL family a happy, safe and healthy Labor Day!

Though the unofficial end to summer is upon us this weekend, we can enjoy the return of Friday Night Football. The MVL has two weeks of the regular season under its belt. Four teams have perfect 2-0 records so far, but at least one perfect record will be shattered next week when Fairborn and Tippecanoe face each other. See the rest of the Friday, September 11th schedule here.

Summer break came to an official end a couple weeks ago and as such, we'd like to welcome everyone back to the Miami Valley League. A new school year and a new set of challenges is upon us. During this unique circumstance, remember to seek support from those around you, and lend an ear to those who need the same. We wish success both in and out of the classroom to all. Cheers to a great 2020 - 2021 school year, MVL!

The Miami Valley League (MVL) Superintendents met today to discuss the current status of fall interscholastic athletics.  Given that the current COVID-19 pandemic is going to be with us for the foreseeable future, it was decided that it is in our collective best interest to compete among MVL schools only during the regular season.  This decision will allow membership to implement protocols and guidelines for all member schools to follow and allow for a more controlled environment for the student athletes to safely return to competition.  Decisions like this are never easy but this gives our students the best opportunity to have a season, given the mandates that must be met and the uncharacteristic times we face.

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, all MVL middle school and high school spring sports have been cancelled.  In addition, no practices, games and other events are permitted for any athletic team regardless of the sports season until further notice.
